Kyusi Kafe: A Hidden Gem in Quezon City

Nestled within the vibrant Suntrust Capitol Plaza along Matalino Street in Diliman, Quezon City, Kyusi Kafe is a delightful sanctuary for coffee lovers and those seeking a serene environment to work or unwind. Although it might take a moment to locate—look for the two charming “Kyusi” shirts taped to the entrance—this cozy café rewards your efforts with its inviting ambiance and friendly vibe.

Step inside and you’ll find a snug space that accommodates about 15 patrons on the ground floor, with additional loft seating for 8-10 guests, making it an excellent choice for intimate gatherings or focused study sessions. Whether you're here to savor a well-deserved coffee break, finish up some work, or simply indulge in a good read, Kyusi Kafe offers the comfort and tranquility needed. Customers have praised the ample power sockets available, ensuring you’ll stay connected while you sip your favorite drink.

One of the standout offerings from Kyusi Kafe is their exquisite Biscoff drink, a whimsical take that has already captured the hearts of many first-time customers. The hot and iced matcha options have also received high marks for their smooth flavor profiles, making them perfect for those who appreciate a rich and creamy matcha experience. While some visitors noted that the food servings could be more generous for the price, the café continues to be celebrated for its range of reasonably priced menu items that provide excellent value for the quality offered.

Rica Angeline C notes, “I’m just so happy to find another café in the area that’s actually open at 7 AM—perfect for that much-needed coffee fix earlier in the morning.” This early opening is a fantastic perk for early risers looking to kickstart their day with quality coffee in a relaxing atmosphere. Alongside good service, guests frequently remark on the welcoming ambiance—a nifty contrast to some of the more bustling venues nearby.

If you're looking for a tranquil escape, defined by a comfortable atmosphere, delicious coffee, and a hint of local charm, Kyusi Kafe is an experience not to be missed. Whether you're a dedicated student, a busy professional, or simply someone in pursuit of a peaceful retreat, this café has found a sweet spot in the heart of Quezon City.

Tucked away on the second floor of Capitol Plaza in QC, Kyusi Cafe might take a moment to find as there aren't any signs leading you directly to it. Once you're at the top of the stairs, make a left, and you'll spot it by the two Kyusi shirts taped to its front. Inside, it's a cozy spot that can seat about 15 people downstairs and another 8-10 in the loft area. They've got power sockets available, which is always handy. The service here is a real standout, a big plus! The coffee is enjoyable too. One thing to note is that it might feel a little hot at times, even with the air conditioning running. However, what's really great is that it's pet-friendly, so you and your furry friend can comfortably hang out. It sounds like a welcoming spot that you and your dog will enjoy, and it's a place worth returning to if you're in the neighborhood.

Anyone who wants na tahimik ang place to study or work, this is for you. May sockets naman and tago ang place. Hot and iced matcha were good. I found the food servings a little small for its price. Sana dumami yung offer nilang food. Service-wise, good.

The place and service are great. I tried their Spanish latte—it was decent. I'll definitely be back to try their other drinks.

There's a lot to love about this place. First of all, I'm just so happy to find another cafe in the area that's actually open at 7 AM lol perfect for that much-needed coffee fix earlier in the morning. Menu items are also reasonably priced, and I love how they have many offerings! Definitely a breath of fresh air from what I usually find in other cafes in the area. Great service also from the baristas, thanks to ate and kuya! When I was there, the owners were also there and kindly asked the customers for feedback. This is something that I so appreciate, it just shows that they truly value the quality of service that they provide and seek ways to improve if there are areas that need to be made better

Beautiful place though a bit hard to find. Spacious and the interior design is nice. Lots of sockets so good for working or studying. I tried the iced matcha latte which was okay, pretty decent. The matcha powder they used was Little Retail which is an okay powder. Nothing special about the matcha but not bad. The staff also asked me about matcha preference (if i wanted it stronger or sweeter) so I like that you can customize the taste. For the powder they use, I think it's a little pricy at 220 but I think it's worth it if you plan on staying in the cafe. Staff are friendly and quick with orders.
